To Prospective Proposers:

The Industrial Development Authority of the City of Phoenix, Arizona (hereafter the "Authority") is soliciting proposals for Legal Advisor Services for both General Corporate Counsel and Issuer Counsel.  A detailed scope of work for each of these contracts is included within each respective RFP.While covered in each RFP, an important point to keep in mind as you prepare your proposal is that the Authority will not be awarding both contracts to the same firm.  Consequently, in the event that a proposer should submit a proposal for both RFPs, and be the highest-scoring proposer for both, the Authority will determine which contract will be awarded to that proposer.  The second-highest rated proposer for the RFP not awarded will then be awarded the contract for that second RFP.  In addition, please also note that the Authority intends to select a primary and secondary firm for Issuer counsel in order to anticipate potential conflicts of interest that may arise in the normal course of business.The solicitation process opens today, Tuesday, November 24, 2009, and closes on December 8, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.  during this time period, all questions regarding these RFPs must be directed to Wendy Gutierrez, Contract Representantive.
