Mr. Lawrence Robinson, Director

Lawrence Robinson is the Director of the Maricopa County Community College District's Center for Civic Participation. He is also a professor who teaches civil rights, constitutional litigation, and other courses.
Mr. Robinson is a champion of education and serves on the Roosevelt School District Governing Board as well as the Executive Committee of the Arizona School Boards Association. Mr. Robinson founded “Good Things Grow,” a non-profit organization focused on building “outdoor classrooms” to allow students to get their hands dirty learning about STEM (Science Technology, Engineering, and Math).
Mr. Robinson formerly served as a Policy Advisor to Mayor Greg Stanton for issues including education and homelessness.
He was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Robinson attended Claremont McKenna College in California, where he earned degrees in religious studies and government. After his undergraduate studies, Mr. Robinson attended New York University Law School where he received his Juris Doctor degree in constitutional law.
