Phoenix IDA Board of Directors
The Phoenix IDA is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors. The Board holds public meetings regularly and pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.02, all notices of the meetings of the Board of Directors and any of its committees will be posted on the Phoenix IDA's website and with the Phoenix City Clerk's Office. Such notices will include information about the location of the meeting and the matters to be discussed.

The Phoenix IDA holds public hearings for bond transactions as required by Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code. These hearings are known as TEFRA Hearings since they were instituted by the federal Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 1982 (“TEFRA”).
The purpose of the TEFRA hearing is to receive comments from interested parties on matters regarding the issuance of bonds and the location and nature of the project for which the bond funds will be allocated.
