As a result of the success of the Phoenix IDA’s core services and programs, it established the Community Development Fund to reinvest in community programs to benefit and support the city of Phoenix and its residents.

The Fund’s focus areas include education, health innovation, community/economic development, and affordable housing.

The Phoenix IDA has invested approximately $4.3 million back into the community since 2014 through the Community Development Fund.

Application Process

The Phoenix IDA considers each funding request on a case-by-case basis. Most Community Development Fund awards are decided through a competitive application process administered by the Arizona Community Foundation.

The Phoenix IDA and the Arizona Community Foundation are currently reviewing Letters of Interest submitted on November 5, 2018 for the 2018 Cycle Two awards. Organizations will be selected to submit a full application and funding announcements will be made the first quarter or 2019.
